Good hacker, bad hacker, what's the difference? Hacking can change the world, but it can also get you in a lot of trouble. A hacker called Gaz likes them both. So what to do with a new technology that can change the world as easily as it can destroy it? Maybe the answer is bitter revenge.

April Singer (Gaz)

April Singer is over the moon to be a part of this festival, celebrating so much local talent! Being completely unable to say no, and having an addiction to busyness, she has been in a veritable crap ton of plays in the past few years, but due to word limits in bios and a faulty memory, is unable to list them all at this time. Seriously though, there's a bunch of them. She has also started dabbling in the film and commercial world, and plays Zooey Summers in the webseries Bagged and Bored, available on YouTube, which she is fine with shamelessly promoting in this bio.

Neil Brewer (Tre)

Neil Brewer is thrilled to be a part of the DCP Festival 2016.  Over the past decade, he has performed in, produced and directed several productions in the Kentuckiana area (which he will always consider "home").  This fall, you can see Neil in productions of The Nether (The Liminal Playhouse) and Titus Andronicus (Savage Rose).  He sends his thanks and love to every audience member (you're why we do this), Rebecca (as always), and a special thanks to Brian Walker (for leading the charge in putting this together), and to Ben Unwin for writing such a fun show with layered characters.  Please help keep the support of theatre alive!

Megan Adair (Vlad)

Megan Adair: ACTOR: King Lear (Josephine SummerStage, Frankfort), A Permanent Image (The Bard’s Town), The Kings of Christmas (The Bard’s Town), Crooked (The Bard’s Town), Henry V (Josephine SummerStage, Frankfort), Takin’ Over the Asylum (The Alley Theater), Necessary Targets (Upstairs Series @ SCCT, Shelbyville) and A Dreamer (Edinburgh Fringe Festival @ Café Camino; Edinburgh, Scotland). DANCER: Modern Views (ICONography Dance and Susie Thiel Collaborative; Ursuline Center for the Arts, Louisville), Waterghosts (Brighton Fringe Festival @ St. Mary’s Church; Brighton, England), Alice Can Dance 2013 (Araluen Arts Center; Alice Springs, Australia) and My Desert is Delicious (Dusty Feet Dance Collective; Alice Springs, Australia). TEACHING ARTIST: Commonwealth Theatre Center, Looking for Lilith Theatre Company. EDUCATION: Laine Theatre Arts in Surrey, United Kingdom and the University of Ballarat in Ballarat, Australia.

Ryan Watson (Conquistacode)

Scott Goodman (Nominy)

Scott Goodman is so excited to be a part of this festival! He’s performed at The Bards Town previously as part of the Ten-Tucky Festival of New Plays, The Snowflake Theory, and the ongoing late-night runs of Star Wars in 60 Minutes or Less- which he co-created. Some of his favorite credits from around town include Jesus Christ Superstar (Peter) with the RiverPops Orchestra, The Wizard of Oz (Cowardly Lion) at Centerstage, Julius Caesar (Brutus) with the Kentucky Shakespeare Education Tours, and Saucy Jack and The Space Vixens (Saucy Jack) with The Alley Theatre. Ball State alum. Two degrees from Kevin Bacon. The Fire Rises!

Chris Petty (Slimer)

Chris can't tell you how excited he is to be performing in @Con here at The Bards Town! He feels very privileged to be in yet another Ben Unwin show (the first being Nightmoose), and hopes you enjoy it as much as he enjoys performing it! Other shows you might have seen Chris in are William Shakespeares Star Wars: Verily A New Hope at The Alley Theater, Mockingbird at the Falcon Theater in Newport KY, Bug at The Bards Town, and his pride and joy (just behind his daughter of course) Star Wars in 60 Minutes or Less, a show he helped create and develop, and has been running in the Louisville area the last 4 years. As always, Chris would like to thank his wife and daughter for putting up with his crazy schedule. He loves you more than anything! Enjoy the show!

Brandon Muncy (Stage Manager)

Martin French (Director)

Martin French has been involved in theatre in a variety of roles for several years, and in a number of countries.  Recent directing work includes Chek-Mate for The Chamber Theatre, for whom he is a co-artistic director; The Carrie Variations; The Trial; The Dumb Waiter & The Ruffian On The Stairs; and Metamorphosis for The Alley Theater.  While he has directed Ben Unwin a couple of times before, this is his first opportunity to direct Ben's work.

Vidalia Unwin (Playwright)

Vidalia Unwin studied creative writing at the University of Louisville and studied theater unofficially at Bellarmine University. Her full length credits include Broken Iris, and The Ballad of Night Moose (co-written by Lex Mitchell). Her short plays include Cruise Control, Hunting For Jackalopes, and Hiding on Jupiter
